The state's biggest amusement park

If your family likes roller coasters, the biggest collection in Michigan is right here. Michigan’s Adventure, a few miles north of the city of Muskegon in Dalton Township, is the largest amusement park in the state, with more than sixty rides plus the WildWater Adventure water park — all on one ticket. It started small, back in 1956, as a roadside deer park and petting zoo, and grew over the decades into the seven-coaster park it is today. The headliner is Shivering Timbers, a giant wooden coaster regularly ranked among the best in the country.
