Four Winds Casino in Hartford

Just off I-94 in Hartford is a Four Winds casino. It’s one of several run by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. The tribe’s roots run deep across southwest Michigan and northern Indiana. It opened its flagship casino down in New Buffalo in 2007. This Hartford spot followed in 2011. It’s smaller than the New Buffalo resort. But it brings gaming, dining, and live shows to the area, and it’s a notable local employer. (Like all casinos, the gaming floor is adults-only.)
